Imagine being an Iranian man or woman listening to Monkey Boy talking about bombing your country |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-26-07 02:06 PM by NNN0LHI
You have a couple little kids just trying to get by in life and you hear some chimpanzee talking to reporters about doing to your country what he has done to Afghanistan and Iraq. He is talking about bombing your country. And the US media stands there like just another day at the office and acts as if the crazy sonuvabitch is playing with a full deck. And the majority of American people are more concerned if Brittany has lost custody of her children.
How would you feel? What would you be thinking?

1. I would demand that my government protect me somehow, anyhow! |
|
I would volunteer to fight the terrorist bastards that threatened me, that frightened my children!
THAT is what I would do.

15. What does that have to do with Iran, though? |
|
There are no "terrorist bastards" from Iran that have threatened you or I, so I don't understand your point.

6. if idiot boy starts bombing Iran I would bet money on Russia getting involved |
|
and with Russia's involvement anything can happen. It can go from America how we know it today to total chaos in a matter of hours if not quicker. Say four or five of the big nukes hitting major cities in our country and brother let me tell you it will not be pretty. This can happen to us here if the monkey boy isn't reined in here pretty soon too.
taking no bets ;-)

3. Imagine that the most powerful nation in the history of the world calls you "evil." |
|
And the most powerful media in the history of the world portrays you in caricature, a devilish, hateful, attacking, bloodthirsty "Other."
And that most powerful nation and military in history continue claiming that you have weapons your nation does not have, and could not hope to have in any appreciable amount for decades, and portrays you as a threat to civilization and the world itself?

7. Reminds me of a lady I knew who went insane. |
|
And ran thru the hallway of her building stark naked brandishing sharp kitchen knives. "Naked with Knives" is how I referred to her after that. We have stripped ourselves of allies, wealth, and viable military. We are literally 'Naked with Knives.'
BTW, I've left out what she did with the knives.

9. why did my cousins move to such a place? |
|
(largest Iranian ex-pat community: "Tehr-angeles")
And why does that nutty leader want to bomb us, when they are the cause of much of our political troubles since 1953?
I imagine that is what my Iranian relatives are thinking.

13. "Bu$h has a relatively small, demoralized army bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan .. Is he nuts?" |
|
That's what I would be thinking. I would also wonder how in the world Bu$h/Cheney could possibly be serious about taking on a country of 60+ million people (Iran), with a very large standing army and plenty of reserves, spread out over 632,457 square miles, that is 65% Shiite. I would look to my east, where the 17+ million people of Afghanistan (spread over 252,000 square miles) are not happy with Bu$hco. I would look to my south and southwest, where 20+/- million live in the 170,000 square miles of Iraq, most of whom hate Bu$h and the USA. Then I would look to my west, where trouble is brewing in Turkey, and I would ask myself: Why does everything Mr. Bu$h and Mr. Cheney touch turn to shit? How do they think that they can spread US forces, alone and scared shitless, across over 1,000,000 square miles of the middle east, further alienating almost 100 million people, and succeed .. in light of their colossal failures so far?
There is only one answer. Bu$h/Cheney are insane.

If those thugs worry me I can just imagine how the Iranians feel thinking about them coming into their country.
Shit.
