I guess any thing he does he feels he has a right to do. So what if it kills off a number of people in Iraq and from Am. or cost us billions. We have his sweet voters to thank for this mess along with this man they put in power.

4. As though we need something we never thought we did...

Given that most Presidents--at least those who weren't "pretending" to be President anyway--that they at least exercised some self-control, some respect for the traditional powers of the office and feared to exceed their defined roles, power and mandates (probably, at least in part, because they faced oversight from both a mostly independent media and a Congress that could think for itself). This one was so ignorant (unlearned as well as intentionally rebellious and stupid to boot) of and disrespectful of the traditions of our Democracy, as well as easily led by others with neoconian agendas... he's acted unethically (there's not an ounce of honesty, integrity or ethics in the man) and recklessly in office--and has caused more damage than anyone ever dreamed a defacto President (elected or not) could or would ever do.

How he managed it is another question that should be addressed, but it seems we just might need something nobody has imagined or has been or is willing to fully consider. Something like a Constitutional Amendment that allows the people to remove anyone from any government position if they (a) lie to the American people, (b) are incompetent or fail repeatedly (with or without serious consequences), or even (c) they're just unresponsive to the will of the people.

In any case, not listening to the country should carry the consequence of being fired--and not just not having your contract renewed. The same goes for being a screw-up.

If our electoral politics is so screwed up that it presents us with and tricks enough people to vote for someone who wouldn't be sufficiently competent to do a load of laundry by himself--and we're stuck with them for years, it indicates a real problem. We can fix problems.
