War Profiteers Must Go To Prison! Why? They Cost Lives ..... |
|
Every time that a contractor fails to perform according to their contract, they take money out of the the supply line designated for that service, and money for other services has to be compromised on a triage basis to make up for it.
IF the war profiteers were squeezed out, there would be plenty of money remaining from previous allocations to provide every soldier with body armor and everything else they needed to be as safe as possible.
The War profiteer will never change its ways unless the people at the top of their respective company GO TO PRISON for a very long time. Period. Fines will never make a difference. And in many cases the same individuals barred from contracting with the Government in the future, just go out and form a new company and voila! they are back at the public trough.

1. Hell we use asset forfeitures for drug convictions |

Why not for war profiteers? I think it is time that WP'ers(Yes I would include Diane Feinstein's husband too!) get thrown out in the streets with their clothes on their backs and that's it. The asstes used to treat wounded vets and their families, those families who lost loved ones and to help rebuild Iraq.

2. Serving Contaminated Water, Charging For Meals Not Served, Not Supplying Armor, Outright Stealing... |

They might as well be 'shaking down' orphans and widows, which IMHO is less offensive than taking financial advantage of troops that may cost them their lives.
There needs to be a return to public ridicule and shame for for these lowlifes, and long prison sentences is a good starting point...
