Gas will be approaching $7 at the pump, 65% will be calling for the destruction of Iran. How will this effect the early primaries?

1. Oh boy! Just like October was going to be,
and just like July and August and April and January were going to be! And just like every month for the last three fucking years were too!

Or is there actually a wolf this time?

3. Um, if gas is close to $7 by Dec 10
...(this year I presume you mean), then Bush** will need the troops HERE because there'll be riots in the streets. The public's introduction to peak oil is being made slowly to avoid that as much as possible. I can't see $7/gallon gas by mid-December.

I do believe Bush** wants to attack Iran, badly, and is getting more antsy for a plausible excuse to do so as his time in office draws short. All sorts of wicked things are possible if he finds his in -- and the effect of the fallout on the general election is more worrisome than on the primaries.

4. That is part of there plan, blame the oil situation on Iran and everybody will channel all that
anger at Iran. Holiday flights will be canceled, oil be about 175 by Turkey day, gas will be going up at 50 cents a pop. Perfect time for Bush/Cheney to strike and effect the candidate selection at the same time.

6. The american people riot
that is a laugh riot.

That said... what do you think Blackwater is for?

And they will not be able to avoid peak oil

As to Bush attacking Iran... it will happen... and that is his road to the Presidency for life. Nobody amases that power or starts ruling by fiat, to give it all up

I truly fear people are missing just how deeply in shit we are

17. I don't doubt it, that there are some folks out there who blame carter
for not turning that contry into glass... we have about 20% who'd not mind if we used nukes willy nilly.

And those will be the ones forming the core of the people loving the new regime

Don't we already have special forces in there? This is how we start wars now. Quietly and sneaking. What a disgrace.

Dec. 7th is as good as any day if we're going to make predictions.
