2. NO. But it looks
like Schumer will vote him out to the full Senate. And that's it.

4. No friggin way! If he gets confirmed this congress will have completely failed.
It's time for accountability on this vital appointment- time to put action behind all those election year words.

No friggin way should this man be confirmed.

5. please call your senators today to tell them Mukasey is not the man to bring
justice and concern for the rule of law back to the justice department.

Everyone knows that waterboarding is torture. Alberto Gonzales crafted loopholes to claim it wasn't in order to allow his "boss" legal justifications for the illegal and unjustifiable.

Mukasey is parsing and splitting hairs over torture. This does not bode well for his ability to bring the rule of law, blind to party allegiance, back to the Justice department.

10. I'd like to try getting along without a president.
If bush had come into office and simply stood motionless without speaking for seven years, we and the world would be so much better off now.

My cat would have done a better job. And he sleeps most of the time!

12. There is an AG. His name is Peter Keisler. He's even worse
than Mukasey. I'm all for rejecting Mukasey, but don't kid yourself about what Keisler is doing over at Justice. He's a key member of the BFEE, and has a history that should make your hair curl.

8. Mukasey is the white Gonzo, and Schumer's flopping
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said he is “weighing” whether to support the Mukasey nomination. “No nominee from this administration will agree with us on things like torture and wiretapping,” Schumer explained. “The best we can expect is somebody who will depoliticize the Justice Department and put rule of law first.”

9. call those Senators that are undecided.
tell them we will cut the funds for the DCCC Schumer's Committee, and a vote for Mukasey is a vote for torture.

Or "Sweet Jesus, you've gotta be fucking kidding me."

Multiple choice is hard.
