"Gone with the Wind the W Years"

"I will always have terra."

So when will America stand up and say? "I don't give a damn."

Even though Bush had 52 warnings about 9-11 and it happened anyway the administration
and a complicit news media are still selling "the war on terror," 24/7 and the utter clap trap
about keeping us safe.

This phony terror crap (and yes I know there is real dangers in the world) has to stop.
Breaking the law and starting an unneeded war in the guise of fighting a world wide
"war on terror" is antithetical to what this country is all about.

I am sick to death about "it is all about '08" from Steny Hoyer, Nancy P., & Harry Reid
because Bush & company must be held accountable for their crimes and their disregard
for the constitution. The coup of 2000 was just the beginning to a string of crimes that
has become mind numbing in it's scope to those who have tried to keep up with what
has been happening. K-street, Plame, media manipulation, kick backs, over a million
dead in Iraq, the use of the Dept. of Justice as a political machine to maintain and increase
power, Abromoff, Ohio's 2004 vote being shipped to Chattanooga, TN and being run
through the RNC's computer (smartech), the stopping of real science, the rise of power
of right wing Christians in areas that they should be constitutionaly banned from, warrantless
wiretaps, and what seems to be the erosion of the basic rule in a democracy .... majority
rules. But still "they" blather on about a war on terror.

Sorry to rant .... but bush's pissy little speech the other day still has me all burned up.

2. Do you ever get the feeling you are living in a nightmare that won't end?
Edited on Fri Nov-02-07 09:04 AM by Frustratedlady
I am trying not to react to the everyday events, as my neck is going to start bothering me from so much shaking back and forth in disbelief. I look at it this way.

Even IF Bush/Cheney/Rove have a ton of nasty stuff on Congress and the media, why aren't these people talking to each other and saying, "I've had enough. Let's move!" If they all come forth with what they know and act, we wouldn't need an impeachment. They haven't followed the law for so long, they should be arrested, not impeached. They are relying on us going by the procedure, which takes forever. They can continue to do their dirty work, because they figure they'll be long gone (or in absolute control) by the time we get to the verdict. Granted, the wheels of justice move slowly, but surely someone can give them some grease.

I just hope I live long enough to see justice served, `cause I sure don't want to "go out" without the rest of the story.

3. Sometimes I think I am stuck in a really bad movie
I saw and heard the stealing of the election in Ohio in 2004 first hand.

And the plot of the movie is I have seen a murder and go to the police
and tell them about the murder but when I get there I see the murderer
sitting and talking to the detectives who are supposed to investigate the
murder.
