As Virginia Tilts Blue, Will GOP Seek Texas-Style Redistricting?
Edited on Fri Nov-02-07 11:15 AM by CorpGovActivist
Remember the tactics that Tom Delay and his cronies in the Texas Statehouse used to increase the number of safe GOP seats in Congress?

After Virginia continues to tilt a lighter shade of purple this coming Tuesday in our off-cycle elections, will the GOP try to redraw the political map, to try to cling to the Virginia Statehouse and preserve as many safe Congressional seats as possible?

If so, then it is especially important to defeat the wife of Tom Davis in her re-election bid for the Virginia State Senate, where she sits on the Joint Reapportionment Committee: http://www.devolites.org/committees.php

Tom Davis has coached his wife, managed her campaign, and even taught her the dirty tricks of shaking down the Federal contractors that he "oversees" on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=2185629&mesg_id=2185629

Best,
