I've watched our race very closely and laugh at the republican's attempt to find a candidate.

We have some winners. Hillary, Obama, Richardson, Edwards, Dodd, Biden. All are absolutely great candidates and if my choice, Senator Clinton, does not win the election, I don't intend to pout about it.

This is an exciting race to be following.

2. Oh dear ...
I tried the whole "be positive" post the other day ..... it like banging the side of a bee hive.

Just makes the "I'm not happy unless I can whine" types shit in their pants more.

3. agreed.
and quite frankly, with the exception of Kucinich (who I prefer), there is almost zero difference in the policy positions of the remaining candidates.

any real differences between Edwards, Obama and Clinton is all cult of personality crap which doesn't interest me.

7. Edwards is in a class by himself. As another poster said it so eloquently earlier....

Edwards has lost his son. And without knowing for sure when, but will lose his dear wife, sooner rather than later.

These are life altering events.

Edwards has rededicated his efforts, and has put the poor and the working class near the top of his list. He has years and years of experience advocating for "the little guy".

In 2007, he has no handlers. He and Elizabeth provide the overriding strategy and policy papers for his campaign.

He writes all of his own speeches. He does not employ a speech writer.

John Edwards is very different from all of the other candidates, and if he makes it through this process and is able to overcome the $$$ and the polls, he will be an amazing President.

9. His policies aren't much different.
Which is why you have to tell me how different his personality is.

5. Right on!
I'm not a Hillary fan, but I'll vote my heart in the primary and vote my party in the GE.
There are a great many threads where people are posting that if their candidate doesn't get the nomination, they'll stay home for the GE.
There is far too much at stake to allow the right to control the Executive branch.
If Dems control all 3 branches, we can move our agenda forward.
If we allow the wingnuts to control the Executive, we'll continue moving toward fascism.
Also, can we really afford another shift to the right on the SCOTUS?
In sum, ANY one of the Dems is far far better than a repug in the White House.
IMHO.

8. I can wholeheartedly support any but Hillary. If I am "forced " to vote for her, I will not support
or campaign for her. I will try to force myself to vote if I must. I could enthusiastically support any of the others.
