2. They are more allied than not, and no
I doubt there's any possibility that they'd nuke Iran for us.

If the radicals take over you could see Pakistan nuking us for Iran

however, as they know that they would be "nuked" in return, I doubt that would happen.

Thanks Mr. Bush for starting a global cold war

7. Jesus Christ....
why would we ask Pakistan to nuke Iran for us? WHY are you even asking such a question? Our enemy is in PAKISTAN so why are you helping the propaganda ministers focus on Iran instead? I find your question very chilling.

I will have to think about how to use that superpower now that I have it.

My take on Pakistan is that they are unstable coalition of religious fanatics, military bad buys and corrupt politicians who work with the US only because we give them expensive things, cash, weapons, etc.
Pakistan is against India but not Muslim India, cousins there. I just wasn't sure whether they were Sunni's Shiites or some other sect and since the US is weak, ie Turkey/Kurds, not enough people to man the supply lines, economy tanking, influence waning I was wondering if Chaney could pay them to nuke Iran for us, you know in the heat of the moment excuse.

Trying to tie up loose thoughts and scenarios. I am not a Middle East Expert but some DUers are.

8. I would (greatly) prefer no one nukes someone else for us

That said, I thing the Sunni Muslims in Paki have what they consider a bigger problem than the Shia Muslim upstarts in Iran in the Hindu nationalists of India.

And, quite frankly, on a stability metric, Iran is probably one of the most stable countries in that region. At the rate things are going, the neocons may need to team up with Iran in ten years or so, just like they are teaming up in Iraq now with 'former Sunni insurgents' to foist a myth of success in IraqNam for the proles back in the consumoland.

Don't want to nuke any future allies we may need in dealing with the next episode of blowback, do we.

Down, Down the rabbit hole we go . . .
