3. My President since 2000
Fought like crazy in 2000 when I lived in Palm Beach County, FL for his rightful place as President.

Now he is saving the whole Planet.

Al Gore is the only person who can right America's wrongs. Run, Al, Run.

14. What's the difference? It's all the same.
No matter what way it is written, it is understood that it stands for July 7, 2007.

13. You can see this is his passion and that this isn't about him but us
Edited on Fri Feb-16-07 06:50 AM by RestoreGore
And hopefully, after this day of concerts people will not just flip off whatever medium they used to watch it and forget it or just spend the next weeks only talking about how this makes his 'resume look good' (because that is not why he is doing this,) but join in whatever way THEY can in really working to save this planet instead of using lip service or just ignoring it. The CO2 already in our atmosphere that has been collecting there for hundreds of years is already doing damage across the world from rapid glacial melt, severe snd persisitant drought, rising sea levels that threathen low lying islands, and erratic weather patterns that threaten water and food supplies because of other factors as well such as population growth, war, deforestation, political resistance to following a moral code, and above all, ignorance and a lack of moral purpose to address this head on by people who either don't care, don't want to admit their part in this, people only using it to get votes, people only spending their time talking about it but stopping there, or those who think it should always be up others to do it.

Humans simply must get this message and begin to tackle this seriously. And while I think it is a great idea to have it from Antarctica too especially considering the affects of climate change there, Antarctica is still a pristine untouched environment. I sure wouldn't want anything to harm it. So perhaps they will find a way for that part of the concert to be played on a ship near the mainland? And also, are there any international treaties or laws that would have to be considered in doing this as well? I'm sure Mr. Gore is up to speed on that and will be looking forward to seeing how this is handled. This is a fantastic idea for the planet, and it shows clearly Al Gore's passion lies in what he has always held dear to his heart as many others including myself do, and to see what we have been waiting for: To see him be able to do as he so chooses in this life for the good of the world without the stranglehold and diversions of political rhetoric.

Thank you for this Mr. Gore, I love you.
