Can someone help me with the Kurdish issue.... |
|
1st I know Turkey is our allie and that Turkey is a rare democracy in the muslim world... 2nd I don't doubt that Turkey has a right to protect its border.
But are there 2 distinct Kurdish entities here?? Is there a Kurdistan as well as rebel Kurds? I get a little confused, and Im sure the Kurds do as well. Did we as a country try to support the Kurds? Don't we tout the northern area of Kurdistan as a positive outcome of our ill fated war, even though the Kurds were doing fine on there own to begin with...
So basically are we going to screw the Kurds again??? Or is there a true rebel force messing with Turkey??
thanks

1. The Kurds are a people divided by a border. |

As are many of the ethnic and religious groups in what we call the middle east.
