I think maybe Bush really jumped the shark with the waterboarding.
We need:

A big viral Youtube waterboard fad to hit us right about now and we will go over the top.

The thing is, Waterboarding is easy to understand and easy to do. You can do it at home with a card table, a hose and some plastic wrap! Woohoo! An easy to understand issue that shows them up as the Unamerican, evil fucks they are!

Here is what has not fully been aired:

If Mukasey gets in and he said that he cannot say that waterboarding is torture, he is advocating/encouraging its use against our own soldiers. I will say that again.

THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION SAYS IT IS OKAY TO TORTURE OUR SOLODIERS.

IT WILL HAPPEN. IT WILL ALSO BE ON YOUTUBE SOMEDAY. WATERBOARDING. AGAINST ONE OF OUR SOLDIERS.

And then, then. The shit will completely explode. Completely. Explode.

2. I don't known why the terrorists and/or insurgents haven't already done this.
If I were an insurgent, (which I am not, and do not plan to be) I would have posted videos of American soldiers and other hostages being waterboarded and subjected to the same tortures that were documented to have occured at Abu Ghraib.

"Hello, I am LonelyInsurgent15, and I have captured Infidel soldier..."

5. Bush jumped the shark?
Um, you do realize that Schumer and Feinstein are also (apparently) in favor of torture?

7. Waterboarding is one of the things they used as evidence
to convict the Japanese leadership of war crimes. It is well documented as torture.

Anyone in either party who votes to approve someone who vows to continue the practice and denies it is in fact torture should be tried for war crimes.

Whatever happened to the country that stood as a beacon to the world because of who we were, not because of what we were willing to do to others?

I am deeply ashamed that such evil men would be seriously considered for high office. They belong in prison.
