Have (some) Democratic representatives left the Democratic Party?
Just as the Neocons are nothing like the old skool repubs, do we have democrats who have left the party? If so how should we classify them? I support the ideals of the Democratic Party (per the rules at DU), but are there Dems who have forsaken us (yes), and how should we treat them here?

I am thinking of Schumer and Feinstien this morning as I hear that Toture boy (part deux) Mukasey has passed the senate judiciary committee. We (Dems) should at least be dragging our heels a bit more. "Mukasey's the best we can get", says Schumer speaking of a fear of a recess appointment....OK but at least make the Chimperor do an end run around Congress. Dont do his dirty work for him Chucky.

I support the Dems, but now my efforts are focused on finding the Democrats that support the Constitution. My local blue-dog is a DINO (Dem. in name only), and he is not getting my support anymore. I only hope that I can find some good Dems to support.

(puts on flamesuit)

3. This is what electing DINOs gets the country
...and it's why I'm opposed to voting for someone, no matter what their record, as long as there's a 'D' after their name. There's nothing to rejoice in the 'D's following the names Schumer and Feinstein.
