I was excited when we got control of congress but I'm not suprised about the ill-will found here at DU and other progressive websites. I wish we had the votes and the leadership to actually do it and not just some futile gesture to satisfy the frustration that we all feel. As is, we'll lose the vote to impeach and get slammed from both sides for being "weak and inneffectual"
I hear people saying "the Dems need to all fall in line just like the republicans do!" Great, but part of that is having the discipline to not bring things up unless the leadership is going to take it to the mat.
