Right where it started last night.
Isn't that the end effect of today's actions?
And really only because of posturing by Republicans.
But now that it is back in committee, why is it any less dead than it was yesterday?
Why are people here describing this as a historic victory?
A net effect of nothing has happened today.

Usually it is sent to committee by unanimous consent, which serves the same purpose as a recorded vote for all practical purposes.

6. So then why the victory lap around here? |
|
Aside from all the commotion today, we are right back where it started.
