at 1:00 AM in the House chamber, probably hoping SOMEONE is maybe watching them on c-span!

I do have the TV on, but it's on mute. Once in a while I glance over to see which idiot is talking now. Maybe it's just to get their words into the congressional record. I don't care. I think they'renuts for continuing this BS into the wee hours of the Am, but hey...they're working, huh?

1. And then they will turn around and complain about having to spend
so much time working is ruining their families. They do love having it both ways. :eyes:

2. They SHOULD have know what the job entailed before they
cried so much that they wanted it! Politics is NOT a family friendly job, and if they didn't know that already, they shouldn't be there because they're too stupid!

4. While they complain about time away from their families, I suspect
that the real reason a lot of Publican congresspersons object to measures like the five-day work week is that it cuts into their fundraising time. Of course, since they're also the ones standing in the way of any real campaign financing reform, I can only say, Choke On That.

5. This will be the only face time a lot of them will get
for their whole 2 years of service, I would bet.
