PHRASES a conspiracy of silence an agreement to say nothing about an issue that should be generally known. Thesaurus
conspiracy noun 1 a conspiracy to manipulate the results plot, scheme, plan, machination, ploy, trick, ruse, subterfuge; informal racket. See note at plot . 2 conspiracy to commit murder plotting, collusion, intrigue, connivance, machination, collaboration; treason.

This is a legal term, and given the efforts from the leadership of now the two parties, to stop the will of the people, we need to consider it. In fact... why would people engage in it? What is up for them to gain?

And most importantly... what is at stake?

And if there is a PLOT affoot... how do you prove it? How do you bring a complaint to a very compromised justice department? And who is participating in this plot?

1. And how do we stop it?
When do we raise the hammer and break the glass?

2. We've had opportunities
but unitl people do it en masse, nothing... and I repeat NOTHING will change

For example.. this week we had a National Strike that was a complete and ummitigated failire...

And until regular americans decide that I have to do this and NOT expect somebody else to do it for me... forget it

I fear though that we must start at the most basic of levels and stop the isolation that we all feel... talk to your neighbors, or your clerks at the supermarket and plant the idea that these folks don't beleive in government

But we must start heeding the calls for national strikes, as painful as it may be.

If five people do it... I know of five, that did it... does not make a damn difference... but if five million, or better fifty million do it, that is when they start paying attention

3. You're absolutely right.
Numbers matter, but it would have to be tens of millions at least to make an impact in America. And I didn't even know about the strike this week. :( I've had to limit news lately because I'm at a dangerous boiling point right now, but it's not really working.

4. Malloy announced it on his show two or three weeks ago
some of us posted the info, but it didn't reach enoguh people

And then I had the ever so popular, but I didn't see it in the news...

You expect the news to tell you there is about to be an action that goes against the interests of those who rule?

In that sense people ARE naive
