Edited on Sat Nov-10-07 09:43 PM by Solar_Power
How low do we sink when Chevron ads on the top of each page at DK?

Makes me sick

1. I say if they want to support DailyKos, regardless of their questionable motives,
that's great -- take the money.

12. I have a talent for presenting the worst arguments imaginable. I have more
faith in Daily Kos than I do in politicians. I think they'd be just fine.

9. Chevron
or for that matter any other oil company, does not consist solely of people who wish to destroy the planet and kill everybody on it.

Perhaps a way of looking at it is they support DK for the same reason any of the rest of us would.

11. Kos has explained his policy:
He's a big believer in freedom of speech, thus unless laws are obviously broken by an advertisement, he will not censor the content of ads on Daily Kos. Not even ads by the enemy.

Besides, I'm not sure Chevron's getting their money's worth - people bitch about the ads on Kos by making diaries about Chevron's bloody hands in places like Burma, the Middle East or Nigeria. Can't say it helps their image...
