The Trouble with Oil on CNN
Edited on Sun Nov-11-07 07:58 PM by Texas Explorer
Should be interesting to see how they spin the current fundamentals.

Ali Velshi claiming true price per barrel of oil should be $60 and the rest is pure speculation.

BULL

SHIT!

3. The trouble? We wear it, we drink from it, we eat it, we use it to move about
Edited on Sun Nov-11-07 07:57 PM by SoCalDem
our kids play with it, we grow food with it, we kill pests with it, we stay warm with it, we get cool with it,

We ARE oil!

the things around us are mostly derivatives OF petroleum products.

There was a time when toys were wooden, dishes were china (not THAT china), we drank from GLASS glasses..our clothes came from cotton, wool, linen, flax..stockings were silk, food was REAL..

farmers fed animals stuff they grew, then used the manure to prep the ground for next season..

we have done this to ourselves because we like cheap & easy

experts recommend super-insulating our houses, but that only helps to trap IN the toxic fumes that emanate from all the petro-stuff we live with..:(

4. Nah, I agree with Ali.....
They've used every BS excuse they could come up with over the past five years to jack the price. Remember the hurricane threats that never materialized? The price reductions were never more than a fraction of the preceeding rise.

It's Enron v. California all over again.
