Just another day , RIGHT?
I wake up to hear more on the 58,000 gallon spill in San Fran , I am no expert but now I know this fuel is one of the most dirty fuels out there with a whole host of chemicals left to give the gift that keeps on giving ,destruction . I did not know this is a waste product used to fuel ships .

Then there is the 560,000 gallon spill in Russia the back sea I think or was I thinking of the color of fuel oil . Plus there were 5 or more ships that sunk with thousands of tons of sulfur . this does not not good at all , nothing really ever does . Coincidence , perhaps . Old ships , probably .

Then I hear BP which I hear called Beyond Petroliem , thought it was british Petrol , who knows , I'm lost , they are now going to seep into public L.A. colleges and in my mind control and take over with their 50 million a year for 10 years gift . Another gift that may keep on giving .

You know what , I don't trust anything all packaged up with a pretty bow , wrapped in lies and distortion like a dirty bomb just waiting to go off .

We were told bio fuels from corn was the rage , it appears it's not such a grand idea . I know I'm behind the curve on most of this . What troubles me is the image I'm left with painted in my mind , an image of skulls and horror that will emerge a few years down the bumpy road as the wrong move once again . Will it be food for fuel along with blood for oil and teachings from chemists with one motive in mind such as an award for their crimes ? Soon it will be blood for water flowing through a fragile toxic lead pipe . A sort of an illusion yet to unfold or rather make that , spill out .

1. There are very simple obvious answers: solar power and electric cars.
All we need is the political will to do it. The technology is all there and ready to go. It will create new jobs. It will protect our animals and earth. There are NO negatives, only for oil companies and stupid car manufacturers.

One thing you can do to feel better: sign up at the live earth website. Once a month they have a pledge, a small change you can make in your everyday life. The sum of all the pledges is change. One month it was to wash 4 out of 5 loads of laundry in cold water. Another month to stop using plastic bottled water and use one permanent bottle. One month to stop using plastic bags. If you add up the small changes you make times thousands of people you start to change the way the culture works. I recommend it.

3. The $2 TRILLION + we're going to spend in Iraq would have bought a lot of renewable energy.....
Probably not the 2/3 of the country's needs as I've heard, but still, a LOT of solar, wind, water and wave power.

There is no political will to get us off the tit of big oil.

5.  Back in Jr High in 1961
GM came to our school as did other companies to have a science fair .

Gm back then had a rather large fully working model of a solar powered car , a car about three feet long with solar disks on the hood and an electric motor , it worked and they said this was the wave of the near future , well I'm still here and no longer am I waiting for it .

As long as there is oil I fear we will be coninued to be held back by their corporate power .

I think the electric car that was in the movie who killed the electric car was a test to see and judge how well it would go over and when it did they crushed it literally crushed it .

I think it's all a test , Katrina was a dry run as are the airport security just to see how well people fall into line in order to get what they had or get what they want , ie , how much will one sacrifice to get through .

Anyone with a piece of a working brain left knows another terrorist attack if that is what it truely was will not be by planes .

All the adds out there now for security jobs scare the hell out of me , these jobs will be what's left as are service jobs and people willing or not will take them and in doing so betray their fellow americans because they too will sell out to save themselves .

It's all about what sells and what works to generate money , people don't matter nore do morals from where ever they come from .

2. If Oil is so Damn Valuable, You'd Think They'd At Least Have Competent People Ferrying It About
How the F*** does a tanker hit the Bay Bridge? Wasn't anybody looking at the RADAR?

Who could have predicted that there would be FOG in SAN FRANCISCO BAY?

4.  You would think it would be
What happened to the double hull they were ranting about the last time this happened in the sound .

Gold is valued too but you don't see people hauling it in a sack with a hole in it walking down the street in the dark .

They have nothing under control at all , it's all take a chance no matter how much damage one incident can cause and it's not like spilling something on the roads where even there we have daily semi accidents .
