Writers start breaking strike line
Defections by multiple writers on CBS soap The Young and the Restless drew a stern response from Writers Guild of America leadership Tuesday.

“They are only prolonging the strike,” WGA East spokeswoman Sherry Goldman said. “They will never be full members of the Writers Guild again.”

1. They should be ashamed of themselves

7. shortly after the writer's guild rebuke was announced
they requested the following be reported:

"Earlier today we stated that the Writer's Guild was upset to hear some of our writers had crossed the picket line despite of the ongoing strike. We apologize, as we are now aware that these are employees of a soap, therefore, we did not mean to demean actual writers by insinuating these people were creating anything that could - would - or should be classified as, "writing". Thank you. Eat Snacky S'Mores."

Now, an image of some real "soap" writing -

5. Scabs
Edited on Wed Nov-14-07 01:08 AM by Gman
the lowest form of life to ever crawl in the dirt on the face of the earth. I hate scabs worse than I hate Republics. They are worse than Republics in every conceivable way. Scabs are lowlife scum sucking cur dogs.

Apparently these scummy pieces of shit crossed the picket line in New York City. I guarantee you one thing, they may have a job now, but they won't be writers very long. Their lives are about to become more miserable than they can possibly imagine for selling out their co-workers. And, they deserve every single thing that will happen to them.

6. Sadly, the mortality of a scab feels no remorse
But on the plus side, at least we know who's who......

Public humiliation is a good behavior-changer. My gut is telling me to treat these motherfuckers a hell of a lot worse, though...
