Republicans sure harp on the idea that democrats need to |
|
support the president don't they?? Too bad they weren't thinking like that during 1993-2001....
no more than 30% of the demographics, yet promoted by 99.9999% of the media...people who have "gotten their way" for decades..by brute force and dirty tricks..and now all of a sudden when they are no longer controling the house & senate, they expect everyone to "play nice" with them ..and to adore their little chucklehead dunce-ident:rofl:

it's more like 99.9998% of the media, but anyways they are hypocrites. They want everyone to play nice with them now that they are in the minority. Typical bully behavior!

3. Also, many pastors are always giving sermons |
|
stressing "support the President" and "support our troops" meaning support the administration, but when Clinton was president all he ever got was "hang the bastard". Apparently, when it comes to respecting the office of the President, it only applies to Repub presidents. I remember on election eve in 1996, they had a "prayer vigil" where members prayed that Clinton would be defeated. Guess God didn't hear them.

5. A Southern Baptist church, what else. |
|
I no longer attend this church for this very reason. Got tired of the politicking. I now attend a very progressive non-denominatinal church which puts helping the poor and saving souls above helping the republican party. I's refreshing.

6. Support Their Own Policies |
|
The worst is when they try to say Democrats are not supporting the troops (when they question Bush's military policies). Well, what about them when Clinton was in Kosovo?
