TPM: A Guide to Firing Cookie Krongard
A Guide to Firing Cookie Krongard
By Spencer Ackerman - Nov 16, 2007
http://www.tpmmuckraker.com/archives/004735.php

It's late Friday afternoon, and yet, Howard "Cookie" Krongard still appears to be in office as the State Department inspector general. (His voice is still on his office voicemail, at least.) His spokeswoman says he has no intention of resigning, even as the likelihood of a congressional perjury investigation increases. So if he won't resign, who can fire Krongard?

In the final analysis, it would be up to President George W. Bush. Only a handful of federal inspectors-general can be fired by their agency chiefs, and State's is not among them. That's a good-government measure: after all, it's probably not conducive to integrity in governance if top officials can dismiss their internal watchdogs. ......

1. They come from the finest families and join the Bush Family Evil Empire/BFEE

in many instances these family ties go back several generations. Then there's the interlocking marriages among themselves that have produced the leaders of several generations.

Let's look at that fine Baltimore family the Krongard's, and the two brothers that were so fine that they were allowed entry into the upper levels of the CIA in addition to their many other "career paths".

Well, you follow a different path to success when you come from one of these fine elite families of leaders-education at places like those found in the Ivy League and their UK equivalents.

Cookie attended Princeton, Harvard and Cambridge. I'll just cut right to the chase and post Source Watch's profile on Cookie for those that like delving into the background of the leaders of the free world that often come from such fine dynastic elite leader families.

on edit: I posted this too soon, hit the wrong button.

OH well, I'll get back to this thread eventually-here are a couple of other links to this fine Baltimore family and their social networks.

Alvin "Buzzy" Krongard also attended Princeton and the University of Maryland School of Law.
While those Ivy League rivalries exist-the social circles and networks are well integrated.

Yale, for example, has seen many of the Bushes and other elite dynastic families educated there. Most of them have joined secret societies like the Skull and Bones. Yet Yale has another secret society called The Fence Club aka Psi Epsilon.

Here's a picture from Yale's fraternity page taken in 1960-and just look at some of the leaders in it, there's John Negroponte in the top row and Porter Goss sitting right next to William Henry Trotter Bush aka "Bucky", Poppy's little bro, in the front row. Imagine that, the education and social networks of these leaders are very different from ours.

"Quite the club..."

Those connections last a lifetime. They helped Buzzy as he went into the oldest investment banking firm in the US Alex Brown Inc. and then merged it into Bankers Trust. Oh yes, Buzzy also worked for Deutsche Bank which held 8.3 million shares of Halliburton.

The perfect cover for managing black budget networks would be something like what Buzzy did prior to George Tenet appointing him the #3 man at the CIA.

But like I said I posted this in error and will get back to it later.
