Valtrex... I feel better now. |
|
My god, a herpes med saying buy me because you'll feel better? About the person who may or may not get dosed?
American Pharma has been successful in sliding myths like this into our culture for too long.
Unless you have RLS or some other renamed symptom to keep an old drug alive.

2. What's particularly stupendous about Valtrex... |
|
...is that, even if you take it, you can still transmit herpes to your partner. The ad brags on and on about what a mensch/menschette the man/woman is being by not giving their partner herpes, all thanks to Valtrex, but the small print says that you can still infect someone even if you're not having a visible outbreak.
So what exactly is the point of Valtrex? Since you can't change your sexual behavior, and have to take exactly the same precautions with or without it, the drug has absolutely no value. You're simply medicating yourself for the hell of it.
Just about the perfect pharma product, really.
