Bush Homeland Security Advisor Resigns
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5is_3qojQ4DMw7ijikRaQ4FSe2WpAD8T0R8EG2

They're dropping like flies...

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Fran Townsend, the leading White House-based terrorism adviser who gave public updates on the extent of the threat to U.S. security, is stepping down after 4 1/2 years.

President Bush said in a statement Monday morning that Townsend, 45, "has ably guided the Homeland Security Council. She has played an integral role in the formation of the key strategies and policies my administration has used to combat terror and protect Americans."

Her departure continues an exodus of key Bush aides and confidants, with his two-term presidency in the final 15 months. Top aide Karl Rove, along with press secretary Tony Snow, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and senior presidential adviser Dan Bartlett, have already left.

2. Did she refuse to start locking everyone up?
When will we hear the real reason for her departure? Will she speak out in 3 years after a cowardly hiatus?

3. She's leaving before the planned "false flag" event of 2008?
Is anyone else particularly nervous that the criminal chimp opened up flight lanes over the heavy holiday season? How 'bout those "innoculation" stories of last week that bomb materials are getting through airport checkpoints?

Townsend may be leaving to avoid the blame. I find it VERY TELLING that no reason was given for her resignation.
Generally, this means that the resignation was on the part of the individual party and not being asked to leave by the employer. What does Townsend know and why no cover story for her leaving?
