Where are all the Hillary Clinton threads at? Is she still running?
Edited on Mon Nov-19-07 04:30 PM by BuyingThyme
Hello,

I thought I'd make up a Hillary thread out of thin air.

Is it not ironic that Democratic front runner is working so hard to prevent us from practicing democracy? I always thought of our party as the people's party -- the one that's not afraid to speak truth to power.

Remember when Rupert Murdoch held that fundraiser? What a drag, having to pull out of the Fox debate. She probably still owes them one (or two.)

Anybody need bone marrow?

...

Clinton's campaign on Monday also began airing a new ad in New Hampshire and Iowa that confronts questions about her trustworthiness with a testimonial from a New York constituent whose son received a bone marrow transplant with the help of her Senate office.

The man, Joe Ward, says in the 30-second television spot that his family's insurance wouldn't cover the transplant. "We called Senator Clinton and asked for help," Ward says. "Her office called the next day letting us know the hospital was going to absorb the cost of the transplant. Now, her opponents are saying that Hillary can't be trusted. I trusted this woman to save my son's life. And she did."

Trust Hillary. She gets hospitals to pay for bone marrow.

3. He should ask Hillary to take her hat out of the ring.
We've become so used to people like her, that we're not even shocked anymore.

She won't do the right thing, let alone understand what the right thing is, until her colleagues start treating her like the four-year old she is.

2. well, that's wonderful health plan: get a senator to make a personal call
that should help out the millions without health care.

5. The funniest part is that it seems to be a commercial about trust.
You can trust Hillary to do what again?

9. it essentially says you can get health care based on what powerful people you know
as long as you then agree to attend a town hall meeting and sing their praises.

that's not a fix for health care, obviously, but a transparent exploitation of someone to further someone else's political gain, based on vaporware.
