Think you know the Constitution? |
|
Then take the test: http://www.constitutionfacts.com/index.cfm?page=quiz.cfmOnce you complete it you can see how you compare with your peer group. I'm an A student, but I didn't tackle the Expert Exam. It's a hundred questions. Whoa.

4. The average score nationally is 7.272 (for 10 out of 10)... wow! |
|
I got 9 out of 10 -- presidential term limits got me. Otherwise I thought this was REALLY easy.

If you ever wonder why people can be so cavalier about their rights it's because they have no clue.

13. That is scary, but I'm surprised it's that high |

People who take this quiz actually have an interest in government. When Jay Leno does his man-in-the-street questions it's amazing the number of people he finds who don't know their Congressional reps, state capitals or that Darth is VP. If that quiz was given to every adult I bet the national average would be 4 to 4.3. Perhaps lower.
Which explains why chimpy still has any kind of approval rating.

Made one phenomenally stupid mistake that I realized just as I was clicking the wrong answer. :)

I think that 10-year deal is a trick question. I knew the answer, but I didn't think they were playing me, so I jumped right to eight years. I'm going to sue the bastards if I don't get a pass.

Clicked a really stupid answer on the first one (maximum a president can serve is 10 years, obviously, not 8).
On the big one, got stuff like this wrong: - To become a Senator you must be a citizen for NINE years (I thought 10). - Congress can expel a member with a 2/3 vote (not 3/4 as I guessed). - 12 states represented at Constitutional assembly, not 13.
