Is Bush a Holocaust denier as alleged by Fisk? |
|
Robert Fisk claims that Bush's about turn on the Armenian genocide makes him the David Irving of the White House. With Turkey's strategic co-operation vital to American interests in Iraq and the region would (or even could) a Democratic president be able to do otherwise on the Armenian issue? http://www.thoughtleader.co.za/traps/2007/11/20/robert-fisk-bush-is-a-holocaust-denier/

1. Yes he is; but it's not just him |

For some reason, the Turkish government exerts amazing pressure on this issue, and it would be difficult for the UK or other EU government to speak publicly about the genocide either. I have to say that I find it baffling that Turkey are still demanding such denial such a long time after the event.
