Poll question: Who, in your opinion, is the Best Supreme Court Justice?
I'll also be doing a poll on the worst

1. 2 votes for Scalia?
Either some freepers are here or some DUers are having a little fun.

5. I considered it. His opinions are a kick to read.

But in the end, the fact that (as clever as he is) he remains a politically-driven, disingenuous pustule caused me to vote for good ol' JPS.

2. As long as we are talking about the SCOTUS, is the upcoming handgun ruling a ploy?

The law has been on the books for over 30 years and they wait until a Robert's court to accept a gun challenge?

If they were pro-2nd they would have let the lower court ruling stand. They will fudge a close 4-5 defeat and blame it on Kennedy or something and claim more conservative justices are needed.

Is this a ploy to whip up angry white guys in swing states like Ohio?

4. Ginsburg got my vote for leaving "respectfully" out of "I dissent"
in Bush v. Gore.

6. Roberts and Scalia get votes here?
Some RW nut cases here for sure.

Scalia trashes the Constitution where convenient (so much for strict constructionists)
and Roberts does what Scalia tells him he should. That's being best Justice? I detect
the stench of some Freeper contamination. Get the Glade, it's an emergency.

7. Little shits who think they're clever. Imagine what an empty life you have, if
you get your 'jollies' from going on a board of sorta-like-minded (though we sure are not locksteppers) people and trying to pull that shit.

It would probably be a more realistic poll if we only put the Justices who voted on the right side of GORE up there, and then had a "Someone Else--please name them"....of course, they'd probably vote that blank, and then not name anyone. But at least it would ruin their fun to an extent.
