White House man points finger at president over CIA leak

Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan has admitted he misled reporters when asked about the leaking of CIA agent, Valerie Plame's identity.

Worse, he says President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were involved in the deceit.

At a White House press conference on October 10 2003, McClellan told reporters that the allegations of Karl Rove's and Scooter Libby's involvment in the leak of Plame's identity were false.

However, in excerpts from his book 'What Happened' to be published in April 2008 by Public Affairs Books, McClellan says the statements were untrue.
