Put a fork in me I'm done |

Being the classic dumbass I am. I have managed to drag out Thanksgiving to 4:30am.
I've drank all the liquor, all the wine, and barely do I have 3 sips in my last beer.
Was T-Day swell or a disaster for you?
I'll read as I drift off into turkey poison abys...

Got to have dinner with my mother and siblings. That was good.
One of my cats had an injury and I had to take him to the emergency 24 hour vet to get him stitched up. Now he's got to wear a lampshade on his head for 3 days so he won't try to pull out the tube the vet left in there. He doesn't like that one little bit. That's bad. But it's good too because I'm getting him all fixed up good as new.

3. No such thing as Thanksgiving here |
|
I had to work a 19 hour day on Thursday, was up at 4 AM to get the pre-dawn plane down to München, didn't get back up here to the Rheinland until 11 PM.
We're having some German and Austrian friends over for a turkey tonight, since we all had to work yesterday, and they all agree with an old friend of ours named Art Buchwald who wrote a great Thanksgiving column explaining it to the French, ending with that it was the one day of the year that Americans eat better than the French do. Art's gone now, but he's till right about that. My wife learned how cook all that stuff "Amurriken" style from an American expert on the subject (my mom, naturally!),
