I'm giving Obama a second look...
Edwards had just about sealed the deal with me...but the more i hear out of the obama camp the more i like the man...cold hard calculation is leading me here...

the "anybody but hillary" vote is split between edwards and obama (duh...we all know this already) if edwards fades anymore it will become the critical time for his supporters and most of them might start to ask themselves the same question i am...

if not edwards, then who?

yeah i know, i will be accused of opportunism and worse on this site, but some things need to be said.

i absolutely loved how obama came out and stood up against hillary's mud slinging and whisper campaign (he did drugs when he was young, etc) obama did what kerry should have done with the swift-boaters, he came out immediately and hit back standing up against his faceless, nameless (so to speack) accusers with the truth and with passion....this to me was a successful test of obama's character.

now if only we could get obama and edwards on the same ticket...!

anyhow...i will make up my mind in the next couple weeks.

3. Exactly.....The original poster just demonstrated what talking out of your a&s looks like
When you don't even bother to look at the facts.

2. Your post is so full of just absolute non-sense, and not factually based at all
And I quote: "i absolutely loved how obama came out and stood up against hillary's mud slinging and whisper campaign (he did drugs when he was young, etc)"

What the hell? Sen. Clinton has had no "mud slinging and wisper campaign" against Barack Obama.

She's been engaging him in a debate on the issues....not anything personal.

But I'm sure that doesn't matter to the folks on DU. I expect this thread to get no less than 100 recs just because it's an anti-Hillary thread; not because it is based on anything resembling a fact.

5. thanks for your oppinion...
but i reject it.

your candidate made a pledge not to attack other democrats, but to turn the heat on republicans...this is another example of how hillary cannot tell the truth.

and it makes me laugh aloud that you are so naive to think the clinton's don't mudsling or leak things to bob novak to smear other democrats reputations after they "promise" not too, but then again coming from a candidate that defends a broken, rigged, and corrupt system in washington DC...i expect no less.

7. Again, where are your facts? Your statements contain no factual basis whatsoever.
It's the same old anti-Clinton rhetoric seen here on DU day in and day out, and frankly, it's quite pathetic.

Come to me with some facts, and then we'll talk. Until then, don't write checks you can't cash.

ROBERT NOVAK novakevans@suntimes.com

Agents of Sen. Hillary Clinton are spreading the word in Democratic circles that she has scandalous information about her principal opponent for the party's presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama, but has decided not to use it. The nature of the alleged scandal was not disclosed.

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/politics/la-na-campaign22nov22,1,4902911.story?coll=la-news-politics-national&track=crosspromo
Gordon Fischer, a former Iowa Democratic Party chairman who is supporting Obama, said Clinton's criticism of Obama undercut her pledge at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner not to attack her rivals.

"The problem with Sen. Clinton is she's on both sides of every issue," Fischer said. "Unfortunately, negative campaigning is no exception."

10. So Robert Novack is your source, huh? Oh I just love DUers who cite the right-wing
I wish DUers will make up their mind......one minute criticizing Robert Novak (and rightfully so) for leaking Valerie Plame's name, thereby putting our national security at risk and ruining the career of a covert CIA operative.

Yet, you have no problem citing Novak's work when it suits your political needs. Sen. Clinton's campaign already said the Novak column was B.S., and the Obama campaign said they have to take the Clinton camapaign at their word.

13. You're posting that as fact?
Who in their right mind would trust Robert Novak's word?

14. Exactly!! I tell you, some DUers never cease to amaze me
Out of one breath, they will rake Novak over the coals (rightfully so) for exposing Valerie Plame's identity in his column.

And in the next breath, they will cite him as a credible source to ATTEMPT to score political points against Sen. Hillary Clinton.
