Proof Republicans are stupid (like we needed that - LOL!)

Kay Barnes is the former mayor of KCMO. She is a Democrat and is running for US Congress - 6th district MO. That seat is currently occupied by Sam Graves, brother of Todd Graves, a former US Attorney caught up in the fired attorneys scandal. Sam is a Bush clone all the way. Rarely votes against the president. He even wrote an editorial defending his vote against SCHIP, and included the false talking point about undocumented immigrants getting health care with SCHIP.

So Sam is going to be tough to re-elect.

Tomorrow is the big KU-MU football game and there is little else going on in KC this week. It really is a HUGE game. Well it turns out that Kay Barnes is a KU grad and came out in support of KU. Yes she lives in MO now but lots of people in each state here are rooting for the other state's team. That is part of what makes this rivalry so interesting.

Well now the MU fans on the local blogs are furious at Kay and claiming she lost their votes! Over a football game.
