I'm starting to see a correlation between poll love and DU wrath...
Obama used to be something of a Golden Boy around here--these days, far from it. Recently, it seems like the criticism of his policies and campaigning tactics has reached a fever pitch--but is it a coincidence that, in the same time period, he's started polling better than he has in months?

Roughly the same thing happened with Hillary Clinton, I noticed. As long as we bashed her, she remained on top...but lately, the Hillary-bashing has grown somewhat muted, and at the same time, she's been losing ground in several key states.

And of course, as much as we love Kucinich, he remains at or near the bottom of the pack. And we worshiped Gore so much that he's not even running at this point...

Can someone explain to me what's going on here? I prefer an explanation that doesn't include the tired old "the media's manipulating the numbers" bromide--to tell the honest truth, these polls seem to reflect what's going on outside of DU fairly accurately, by my judgment.

6. If you know the rules, you know that's against the rules.
There's no need to drop names anyway - simply look in any thread in GD or GDP that has more than 50 posts and you'll see what I mean. Way too often people try to shove false arguments down other people's throats in order to score points. Way too often there is ridiculous candidate bashing - not disagreement, but vicious attacks. Way too often people claim that thier candidate is the only candidate that can possibly save America, and supporting anyone else is treason.

Yeah, I think fucknuts is appropriate.
