The Democratic Difference
In an attempt to define what it means to be a Democrat and then to point out the differences between Democrats and r's so that the rest of America can make the proper decisions come November, this thread was conceived.

The Democratic Message? Putting People First.

The message says that government that governs always for the best of all the people is the kind of government Democrats strive for. For too long now, republican led governments have put polluters first, war in front of peace, and spending before saving.

Democrats strive to govern in an open and truthful manner, while relying on the constitutional mandate of people having the ultimate power over the government. After all, the constitution was written to limit government, not to limit People.

Wherever money and power reside, as is the case with the US government, corrupt individuals will always be found with their hands groping for all they can get. Democrats don't like those kind of money grabbers in the People's halls of power.

Democrats believe that by practicing open, accountable, and responsible government, our government can live up to it's reason for being: The best it can be for all people.

In short, D's are the best organization available to govern under the auspices of the constitution. Though not perfect, their basis is much more honorable.
