Remember when Zogby had Lazio beating Hillary right before the 2000 election? |
|
I don't think we can trust Zogby polling Hillary. < http://www.opinionjournal.com/diary/?id=65000528>

3. Hillary has a shadow vote - she gets more votes than polling points. It's the opposite... |
|
of what black candidates experience, where they get more polling points than votes.

9. No, I've not seen it in reference to female candidates generally. But she has it. nt |

10. People that don't want to admit they would vote for her... |
|
remember, polling by telephone is often not a confidential act - your family is in the room.
Independent women and women who sometimes vote Republican would be among those reluctant to say they will vote for her but would do so in the voting booth.
My firm was polling in NYS - not for her race, but we'd ask that question anyway - in 2000 and our numbers suggested she would win, but the margin ended up being more narrow than predicted from our surveys.

11. That is so interesting and kind of sad if a woman is afraid |
|
to say who she would vote for, because control freak hubby is standing by.
Thanks. Sometimes I learn stuff here.:wow:

12. Zogby interactive polls are so often unreliable. His were pretty unreliable |
|
in 2002 and 2004--I didn't pay any attention to him in 2006. Actually for all the flack they get Rasmussen was among the most reliable pollsters in 2004.
