The glaring hypocrisy of the right wing in America
I find that the right wing ideology in this country is thoroughly corrupt, inconsistent,
And unredeemable and will therefore, eventually, be relegated to the scrap heap of history

These are the same people who criticize Chavez for socializing Venezuela’s oil and yet are promoting a socialized oil distribution system in Iraq.

These are the people who tell you that we will save American jobs by sending the jobs oversee.

The same folks will tell you that in order to help poor people we have to give the wealthiest of the wealthiest, who don’t need it (after all, you can only sleep in one bed), more of it.

These are the people who would like to force woman to become human incubators and yet provide no medical care for the woman, when she delivers the baby, and no help for the child once it is born.

These are the same people who say they worship jesus and say it’s a sin to have an abortion and yet it is OK to kill a person on death row or that it is your duty to go over to Iraq.

The same people will gladly sign up for invertro-fertilization and yet say it is wrong to do stem cell research.

It seems to me that truth for these folks is of no intrinsic value. The truth seems to be used only when it fits into their tortured dogma and thus a means-to-an-end rather than an end-unto-itself.

1. Truth is anathema to the RW
they loathe it, like they loathe themselves.

2. Is it hypocrisy or warped values--or both?
It killed me to see and hear right wingers talk about boycotting Citgo because of what Chavez said about Bush. However, there where no calls, from the Right, to boycott Saudi oil after 911. 3000 dead Americans--no boycott. Chavez calls the chimp a devil--boycott.

3. How is this for putting

it all into perspective from Jack Clarke of Blast The Right:
"Everything the right-wing does is designed to accomplish one of two things, either:
(a) transfer wealth from everyone else to the rich, or,
(b) distract everyone else from the fact that (a) is occurring."
