What is the "site that shall not be named", and why is there a site which shall not be named on DU?

I just don't buy it. The names aren't listed because it's "free advertising"? Why would anyone at DU GO there? Isn't that why we're HERE? Because we don't WANT to be there? They do serve a purpose though. I sometimes check in over there to find the hot topics over here - sort of a DU guide, if you will. I think of them as little organ grinding monkeys laboring on their keyboards for our benefit.

according to the link maps, in part. You don't want to be linked by, or link to such low forms of web life, or your rank goes down and you are correlated with their subjects, etc.

Likewise with the f*** stuff, it just lowers the rank of DU to use profanity and gets the thread blocked from search results for most users.

They have a special forum on DU. It is interesting to see who they quote over there, and who gets absolute zero mention.
