Matthews described Obama as "almost Third World in his sort of presentation"

Appearing on the December 3 edition of NBC's Today to discuss presidential politics, MSNBC host Chris Matthews said of Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL): "{H}e's so fresh-faced, so brand-new, almost Third World in his sort of presentation. He doesn't click as a usual politician."

3. Matthews and the corporate media are fine examples of propaganda
services operated as news organizations in many Third World nations.

Tweety, look in the mirror.

4. That Doesn't Even Make Sense
No matter his motivation, it still doesn't even make any sense. It's a comment apropos of nothing. If he wanted to say that he was "fresh and doesn't come off like a traditional politician", then he could have said that. That would have made sense. The "third world" comment is a non sequitur.
