I would be willing to eliminate all federal Corporate taxes, with conditions |
|
The Repukes keep saying taxing corporations causes prices to be high. Okay, assume they're right for the purposes of this discussion.
I would support a plan whereby any business could escape federal taxation IF they agreed to take all the money they were going to send to the IRS and use it to either lower prices or increase wages for their rank-and-file employees.
Moreover, they'd have to PROVE they spent the money on their workers, or on lowering prices, instead of just increasing their dividends or CEO pay.
'Course, that's a total fantasy--prices would find some way to stay high and wages low while the CEOs would find new reasons to keep all the money for themselves, so it's not really a feasible program. Then again, neither is anything that came out of Bush's mouth in the last seven years...

1. Corporations don't pay taxes. That's why they buy Congress members. To make tax loopholes. nt |

3. Do corporations/businesses pay taxes and not pass them to the consumers? |
|
If they don't pass them to the consumers how long would a business stay in business?

2. Vote for me, I will eliminate ALL your taxes with 'The Fairest Tax" |
|
The Fairest Tax - Eliminate your taxes! Tax only corp's and income earners over 3 million dollars and use tarrifs.
This is how the gov't used to be funded.

4. I like corporations paying SOME taxes because |
|
it gives them an incentive to hire people and buy new equipment etc., to try and lower the income they pay on.
