New terrorist attack predicted in Arab world

India's National Security Adviser MK Narayanan has warned the United States and Gulf Arab states to prepare for a new wave of terrorist attacks on economic targets.

Mr Narayanan was speaking at a security conference in Bahrain where he revealed that
Indian intelligence agents had discovered new al-Qaeda training schools close to the Afghan-Pakistani border, where a new breed of terrorists were being turned out.

Mr Narayanan said their targets included high-profile politicians and economic infrastructure in the Gulf region, such as oil pipelines, storage facilities, electricity pylons and oil tankers at sea.
