PSA: In Today's Economy 7 cents = O. It has been determined
x( by the cashiers of the drive-up windows of fast food restaurants across America that it is their

prerogative to return your change of at least up to and including 7 cents.:o IF you ask for your change back, they are allowed to look at you with the utter contemptuousness deserving of your meager cheapskateness. :nopity: Never mind, that in the long ago and Oh so far away 60's, that 7 cents would have purchased a loaf of bread.:wow: Get with it, you useless to society senior

citizens! Nickels and pennies are not worthy of this younger generations acknowledgment of even existing.

i was a VISTA Volunteer as the emergency services coordinator in jefferson/clallam county community action
council, i collected and distributed about 980,000 lbs of food during my 2 year tour, my contract was to collect 50,000.. worked setting up their homeless shelter program.. i had such a good time and made such wonderful friends

i am just glad i finished my tour before the organization imploded shortly after.. a despicable power grab of a few that drove out nearly all the of the really wonderful hard working dedicated workers there..including myself. i hope they recovered, so many people there need so much help.. the Reagan years were hard on the poor.

4. That sounds like it was a wonderful program. I wish I had been
given this option with my measly little ole 7 cents. Already, it would be 21 cents, as this has happened to me 3 times in the very recent past at 3 separate locations.

6. in Senegal, peace corps '73, you got minor change in 'aluminum' coins, you had to give to beggars
cause they wouldn't allow non beggars use them, poverty was gut wrenching, donkey carts picked up the dead every morning.

it was a very interesting 2 tier economy that assisted the poor.. it was an Islamic republic, i admired them for that

that the sign about washing your hands in the toilet is there because white people believe Mexicans are dirty people.

we would frequently find shit wiped across the sign.. i just lost my taste for fast food.. if i am shopping with my mother, i check the bathroom and get a crunch wrap with her

i believe the shit on the sign led the industry to have prefab food;cases of frozen pre made items and plastic gloves in the line now.. but i eat low salt/fat food and just pack a lunch

5. That was another nation and another time.
I seriously doubt such thing could happen today, Bushie propaganda has made the poor public enemy #3, after the Liberals and Bush Opponents who Know Something and Might Talk.

Bin Laden, he's not even on their list of enemies, as he has been their greatest friend since he worked for the Bushies in Afghanistan, and will continue to be so.

Which is why of course, the Bushies just can't find him.
