Andrea Mitchell of NBC News just began the introduction of Secretary of state Rice at the Women's Foreign Policy Group; the show is being broadcast on C-Span.
Ms. Mitchell styles herself a correspondent, a newsperson. What in hell is she doing introducing a member of the Administration? She should be in the audience trying to get a chance to get questions in, to report for god's sake. But what do we see instead? Pandering to Rice and great big smiles for everyone.

3. Chris Matthews spoke of Andrea Mitchell last week as if she is one of the IMMORTALS of journalism, |
|
a woman who stands outside time, space, and partisanship.
Anyone watching that moment in TV oddness would have felt nauseous. She's never been OUT of the circle jerk, from the very first.
Hard-hitting reporter, willing to call'em as she sees'em, and lets the chips fall as they may? Not really! She's absolute hell on leftists, and all other people unpopular with the right-wing power trading, genocidal, minsanthropic criminals.

4. She is neither correspondent nor journalist any longer, |
|
She is Mrs. Greenspan and a partisan hack IMO.
