When Sister Kathy Avery, principal of St. Clare Montefalco Catholic School in Grosse Pointe, MI, decided to do something about her students using inappropriate language in the hallways, she got up in front of the entire school and read out the list of words she intended to ban.

George Carlin's "Filthy Words" routine became the center of a Supreme Court case after a 1973 complaint to the FCC following its broadcast on public radio. The original list of seven words included "shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits." However, by the time the case was decided in 1978, Carlin had helpfully added "fart, turd, and twat."

She told me the whole class used to say "he/she/it" really fast so it sounded like "he shit" and the nuns would get fucking pissed at them! :rofl:
