How do you get votes in the Senate to remove Bush/Cheney from office?

5. And in order to IMPEACH there will be an investigation. That investigation

will expose all the crimes. If they are Impeached for those crimes, the American people will INSIST they be convicted in the Senate and remove from office! Once all the crimes are known, they will have no choice but to Impeach and Convict.

It's obviously not the votes. They can't know who will vote which way until the process plays out and the public starts to seethe. If they had begun this process already, they could pretty much have COUNTED ON a Democratic landslide next year.

So why don't they do it? Complicity brought about by their own spinelessness? Tough to argue Bush**/Cheney committed a crime when they knew about it and did nothing.
