So I was reading the WAPO dossier on Freddie Thompson today..

I won't link it, as it is very long and it would be a good substitute for a sleep aid in a pinch, however two things stuck out at me:

1) Freddie, much like Pat Robertson, has never publicly admitted to impregnating his first wife before marriage.

2) Freddie started the first Yellow Elephant club at Tennessee during a time when most Democrats in the south were switching to Republican (i.e. they were all racists)
