If these are the issues that are important to America, I think Repubs should have to respond to the same questions.

45. He met the rules, the others didn't.
Dennis's campaign office is out of someone's home. That shows he just a part-time candidate - at best. If you aren't serious enough to fund an office, or don't have the money to fund an office, you just aren't in the running. This is how politics in America works today, whether we like it or not.

144. Those rules
Are utterly absurd. Kucinich is running for the president of the United States, not the president of Iowa.

If Iowa believes it is justified in its special status as first primary/caucus state than it has a duty to the nation that goes beyond who has or hasn't a campaign office there. Or else they should shut up and we should go to a rotating primary schedule.

their reluctance on him. Was he there just to extract caucus votes, or did he really mean to campaign there?

Having said that, I am sorry he was excluded from the debate. While he is not my favored candidate I can appreciate his voice and his message in the debates. They are valuable and needed, IMHO.

liberal or moderate. It's been interesting to see who garners the vote of both groups.

Biden started off slow, but is getting much better.

Edwards started off with a bang, but has lost a little steam.

Look at the difference between the two groups on energy.

102. The FAUX NOISE line graph reminds me of the the fan noise meter at basketball games...
It is operated by an individual who can make it show anything he wants. It is totally unrelated to the noise level in the arena.

Disclaimer: I'm for Obama by a hair over Hillary

I think Hillary is doing the best and Obama the worst. Obama's answers are just a little too pat, plus in a serious debate like this he doesn't stand out. Everyone has gravitas. I think Richardson is doing very well, Edwards is sort of unmemorable, like Dodd. Biden is a blowhard, but he's very smart (but that's a feeling I've had about him for a long time).

Obama and Hillary: A Moment

13 Dec 2007 03:14 pm

Moderator: "With all of the Clinton advisers on your campaign, how are you going to offer a clean break from the past?"

Obama:

HRC: "I'd like to hear the answer to this..."

Obama: "Well, Hillary, i look forward to you advising me as well."

HRC: laughs. REALLY loud.
