Ha! The Dem debate - What's a 24/7 cable news show to do?

For a medium bred on war, car chases and courtroom drama CNN seemed at a loss after today's Democratic debate in Iowa.

The candidates generally spoke to policy substance (gasp!), cited specifics (oh no, facts?), made few overt slams (drat), kept their 'promises' within reason (whaa?) and were civil all around (boorrring)...

Yet CNN found an angle - cut to the steroids-in-baseball report and a sly little piece - 'Can the Democrats shake their do-nothing image?'.

This Democrat appreciated the civility, substance, and specifics.

CNN ought to stick to car chases and their fave - laser guided bombs.
