Do you think Bush will proceed with the Divine Stake Bomb Test
in Nevada in spite of the strong opposition from several Western states?

1. It's Strake, not stake, and I doubt Bush even knows it exists. It's the Pentagon's toy. NT.

4. exactly
Bush barely knows where Nevada is on a map. Divine Strake is not high on his awareness list.

5. Is the Divine "Steak" a prelude to war with Iran?

6. No
I doubt one has anything to do with the other.

There will always be weapons tests, and there will always be bellicose rhetoric. I don't think they're tied to each other.

Personally, I don't think there will be war with Iran. There might be a strike, led by Israel, but the US simply doesn't have the capacity or the public support for a war.
