"House Democratic Caucus released this chart touting its legislative accomplishments" (despite Bush)
Edited on Thu Dec-20-07 10:43 AM by ProSense
A Democratic Revolution? The House Democratic Caucus released this chart touting its legislative accomplishments, as compared to the 1995 “Republican Revolution” led by Time’s then-Man of the Year Newt Gingrich:

Edited to add: F*** Bush!

Edited to add: F*** Roadblock Republicans

1. How does the Fiscal Responsibility Act compare to the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act?
Are they just listing items randomly? It looks like it.

4. It doesn't. The chart lists 11 bills of the 1994 Contract for America on the left and
11 bills the Democrats of 2007 wanted on the right. It shows that even with the GOP and Bush's veto pen, they passed more of their program in the first year than the GOP Contract for America did.

5. Gee, they always forget to mention: the Gang Abatement and Prevention Act of 2007
A bill to increase and enhance law enforcement resources committed to investigation and prosecution of violent gangs, to deter and punish violent gang crime, to protect law-abiding citizens and communities from violent criminals, to revise and enhance criminal penalties for violent crimes, to expand and improve gang prevention programs, and for other purposes.

8. This is not to trash the Democrats, but they need some kind
of PR Machine. If this information is not covered seriously
and heavily on Television, the American People will be unaware.

All recent important legislation has been covered as Bush WINS.
Democrats either failed or were disappointed that they could
not pass---

The list does show gains, but the majority of American People
will never know.
